We are the Wilds. Doug was born and raised up the road from our home in Northeast Iowa in the Driftless Area. Doug has had a passion for tractors, planting, harvesting, mechanics, woodcutting, mustangs, and cattle from a young age. He is a third-generation farmer who continues to use old-school International farm equipment while living on the farm his Grandpa Wild established long ago. Meeting his true love in life in his mid-thirties has brought a new fullness to the farm. Doug met Robyn online, and soon they were falling more in love, and Robyn moved up to the area to settle on the farm with Doug. She comes from Kalona countryside by way of the big city of Cedar Rapids and has taken to farm life rather quickly. Robyn has had the dream of living on a farm since a little girl and brings to the farm; creativity and passion through baking, crafting, sewing, and gardening. We both work off the farm full-time and hope to one day replace the daily grind off the farm for a slower-paced and more peaceful life led by the needs of the farm rather than the needs of the corporations we currently work for.
