This photo was taken the first day that Doug picked up this truck from Gerald Yoder near Wellman, Iowa. It is a 1971 Ford Truck that we call Wade. It still has it’s original dealership sticker on it and it was bought from Wade. The truck was purchased with wood cutting in mind. It has a dump bed that is perfect for unloading a nice cord of wood.

The truck was purchased knowing it might be a bit of a project, which Doug enjoys. We started with replacing the tires and then started working under the hood. The heater core was replaced, we put on new exhaust manifold gaskets, rebuilt the carburetor, and painted the sides.
